ABOUT THE

UNITED STATES INVESTING CHAMPIONSHIPS

AND

MONEY MANAGER VERIFIED RATINGS

Prior participants include legendary traders–Paul Tudor Jones, Mark Minervini, Louis Bacon, Edward O. Thorpe, Mark Strome, David Ryan/Investors Business Daily, Doug Kass, Gil Blake, Sheen Kassouf, Marty Schwartz, Frankie Joe, Tom Basso, Cedd Moses, Robert Prechter, Jr./Elliot Wave Theorist, Bruno Combier, Gerald Appel.

The purpose of this competition is to uncover rising financial stars, and help them rapidly attract new investors. Financial publications, be they the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Forbes, Money, Fortune, Investors Business Daily, or individual writers like Jack Schwager of Market Wizards, are always looking for top up-and-coming managers to interview.  As you can see from the attached press articles, our participants have received an enormous amount of coverage from all major financial publications.

UNITED STATES INVESTING CHAMPIONSHIP

This competition is designed for smaller traders who want to make a name for themselves. The minimum account size is $20,000. There will be two divisions, stocks and enhanced growth. Depending on the number of entrants, we may have a separate division for accounts of $100,000 or more. Any accounts which contain futures or long option positions, will be placed in the “enhanced growth” division. We request that contestants who have long options or futures in their accounts, bring that to our attention when they report their results. The stock division allows pretty much anything else. Contestants can go long or short, trade ETFs, or foreign stocks, as long as we can readily determine the account value at the end of the quarter. Writing options is allowed in the stock division.

HOW TO SIGN UP

Prior to the end of 2022, contestants should click on the “SIGN UP HERE” button below. You will be asked to specify a specific account (by account number). You will be asked to pay a fee of $425 for the year. If you are doing well and wish to appear in the standings, you will need to send us a copy of your 2022 year end brokerage statement, showing the equity in the account at the end of 2022. You will also need to send us copies of your brokerage statements through the end of the quarter for which you are reporting. We will ask you to fill out a form which shows any monies that you added or removed, and estimate your performance. To simplify the computation of your percentage increase, it is better not to add or remove funds but we can make the necessary computation as long as we know the equity of the account on the days when monies were added or removed. If you do not provide such information, we are likely to make assumptions which will likely reduce your computed return somewhat. Statements must be received within three weeks of the end of the quarter. If you can't make that deadline, you will still be listed in the official results on financial-competitions.com, but you may not be included in all press releases. The performance of a participant who enters late will be determined from the date they enter onward. Statements should be scanned and emailed to norman@financial-competitions.com

MONEY MANAGER VERIFIED RATINGS

This competition is designed for traders who are managing money but would like to manage more. The minimum account size is $1 million. We will do the best we can to separate the top performers into three different divisions, based on risk/volatility.

HOW TO SIGN UP

Prior to the end of the 2022, contestants should click on the “SIGN UP HERE” button below. You will be asked to specify a specific account (or accounts) (by account number or numbers) or hedge fund (by name). The account or accounts or hedge fund must total at least $1 million in assets. If it is less than that, your performance will be computed by assuming a starting value of $1 million. You will be asked to pay a fee for the year of $1,000. Under certain circumstances, we may accept a performance report from a recognized accounting firm for a pre-specified hedge fund. However, the higher up you are in the standings, the more likely it is that we will need to see the brokerage statements ourselves. Statements must be received within three weeks of the end of the quarter. The performance of a participant who enters late will be determined from the date they enter onward. Statements should be scanned and emailed to norman@financial-competitions.com.

ADVANTAGES

The obvious advantage to participating in our competitions, is the opportunity to become better known and raise substantial funds. If you examine some of the articles in the following pages, you will see how Mark Strome benefited from entering our MMVR competition. He was featured in Barron’s multiple times, and was also on Barron’s cover. When Bruno Combier did well years ago, he was on the front page of virtually every major publication in France. At least six of the traders who participated in our competitions, Paul Tudor Jones, Mark Minervini, David Ryan, Gil Blake, Tom Basso, and Marty Schwartz, were written up in Jack Schwager’s “Market Wizards,” and “The New Market Wizards.” This is an international competition. Are you up for it?

Looking forward to your participation and success.

Norm Zadeh, Ph.D.
